November Update

Friends & Family,

We are in the USA! We arrived on the 30th and have been adjusting to the new time zone and soaking up time with family. It feels good to be in person with so many people we've missed these past 11 months.

If you are in the Cincinnati area we would LOVE to see you this Wednesday night the 8th at Northstar Church at 7pm. We will be sharing pictures and stories and our vision for the next year in Thailand.

As excited as we are to be back, we had a little bit of a hard time leaving Thailand. Things were really starting to open back up and we were connecting with some really exciting opportunities, getting to use our Thai a lot more and making new friends and connections. We are grateful to have had those weeks of excitement, as it makes us eager to get back and see what the Lord is going to do through all those new open doors.

Discipleship

As we have gotten to know Thai people who are attending the churches and ministries we are part of, we have seen a similar trend: friendship was what led to them first being interested in knowing more about Jesus and visiting a church. Having a friend who encouraged them and discipled them was key in them accepting Jesus as their Lord and Savior, and having a significant supernatural spiritual moment was key in them really choosing to live their lives as followers of Jesus. We feel that God is calling us to create a community of friendship and discipleship with Bible studies, fun hangout times, worship nights and outreach. We believe this will be the launch pad for our ministry in Thailand. We feel passionately about the fact that less than 1% of Thai people are Christian and most have never heard the Gospel, we want to see that number changed!

Our time in the USA

The primary purpose of our trip back is to change our visas from education visas to volunteer visas. This allows us to stay longer in Thailand and be in proper standing with the government so we can do ministry legally. This process costs about $1,000 USD outside of the cost of our travel. We will also be getting some things for Baby Girl Coupe that are harder to find in Thailand. We would also like to make connecting with all of you a priority during these next 6 weeks. If you would like to get together to hear more about our vision and our time so far please reach out by replying to this email and we can set up a time!

We are so thankful for each of you and your continued prayers and support. We are so excited for what this next season holds!

With gratitude,

Adam and Kayla Coupe
